To me, a coach is someone with the requisite knowledge and experience to safely guide you on a journey from where you are, to where you would like to be. Being a lifetime athlete, I have curated an extensive array of knowledge and experience from multiple arenas. My time in the NCAA as a 400M runner for example, taught me the foundational requirements for coaching and training performance athletes, as well as the discipline required to clearly identify objectives and strategically map out a route towards them. As a professional athlete I not only learned the importance of planning and accountability, but I drastically improved my knowledge with regards to nutrition, weight loss and weight management. Combined this experience affords me the ability to work with all levels of clients, from beginner/casual fitness enthusiasts, to professional level athletes.
